La Saline Royale was created by architect Claude Nicolas Ledoux in the XVIII Century and was given over to the International Think-tank for Future Planning. This UNESCO World Heritage site, which also boasts the Centre Culturel de Rencontres label for meetings venues, is home to 2 museums. One is based on the history of salt and the other is dedicated to the works of the building’s architect (unique in Europe), as well as featuring a cultural events programme and a garden festival. The conference centre, hotel and restaurant allow individuals and corporate groups to enjoy a privileged visit and to take full advantage of the site.
